Petra Energy provides a spectrum of fabrication
services for the upstream oil & gas industry. The
scope of work covers fabrication, assembly, erection,
inspection, testing, load out, planning including nondestructive
testing (NDT) services for the completion
of fabrication works.
The minor Fabrication yard in the F.T. of Labuan (East Malaysia) is strategically located
in close proximity to clients, oil & gas facilities, the
Asean Supply Base (ASB) and has easy access to Labuan's harbour/anchorage, thus facilitating marine logistics via the Group's offshore marine fleet.
The Yard, which covers an area of approximately 2.3 hectres, houses the following support facilities:

The Yard is supported by a team of key personnel and
other technical and support staff. It has undertaken
various work orders for oil majors like PETRONAS
Carigali, Shell Malaysia and other clients for
offshore facilities. With the robust growth of the oil
& gas industry, Petra's Fabrication Yard is set for
phenomenal growth as it represents an important
component of the Group's role in integrated brown
field services for the upstream oil and gas industry
in the country and region.
